Additionally, much of the literature on Ca and P<br \/>\nrequirements is older and may not be relevant to the modern, high<br \/>\nproducing sow. A trial was conducted to determine if the current<br \/>\nrecommended feeding levels of Ca and P during gestation are<br \/>\nadequate for high producing sows housed in stalls or groups. We<br \/>\nfound that the current recommendations are adequate for group<br \/>\nhoused sows in a non-competitive group housed situation.
