Le principal objectif \u00e9tait de comparer, dans un m\u00eame<br \/>\nmontage exp\u00e9rimental, diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes de gestion des d\u00e9jections sur divers aspects<br \/>\nrelatifs \u00e0 la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air. Pour ce faire, le dispositif exp\u00e9rimental comprenait 5<br \/>\ntraitements, dont 3 syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9paration distincts (gratte en \u00ab V \u00bb, filet, courroie). La<br \/>\nfr\u00e9quence de grattage et l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de s\u00e9paration ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9es.<br \/>\nL&#8217;exp\u00e9rimentation s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e dans 12 chambres identiques, compl\u00e8tement<br \/>\nind\u00e9pendantes et ayant chacune leur propre syst\u00e8me de gestion des d\u00e9jections. Chacune des<br \/>\nchambres accueillait quatre porcs \u00e9lev\u00e9s de 30 \u00e0 80 kg, et ce, sur une p\u00e9riode de huit<br \/>\nsemaines par \u00e9levage. Les r\u00e9sultats ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&#8217;il y a un effet significatif du traitement<br \/>\nsur les \u00e9missions d\u2019ammoniac (p=0,02). Sans le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de s\u00e9paration, le retrait des<br \/>\nd\u00e9jections \u00e0 tous les 2-3 jours a r\u00e9duit de mani\u00e8re significative les \u00e9missions d\u2019ammoniac<br \/>\nde 46% (52,7 mg jour-1 kgporc<br \/>\n-1). Au cours d&#8217;une p\u00e9riode d\u2019entreposage de 2-3 jours, la<br \/>\ns\u00e9paration de l&#8217;urine et des f\u00e8ces directement sous des lattes a permis une r\u00e9duction<br \/>\nsignificative de 49% (50,0 mg jour-1 kgporc<br \/>\n-1) des \u00e9missions d\u2019ammoniac. Les diff\u00e9rents<br \/>\nsyst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9paration ont eu la m\u00eame capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9duction d\u2019ammoniac. Les r\u00e9sultats<br \/>\nont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu\u2019au cours d\u2019une semaine, il n&#8217;y a eu aucun avantage significatif \u00e0 augmenter la<br \/>\nfr\u00e9quence de vidange ou \u00e0 proc\u00e9der \u00e0 la s\u00e9paration solide-liquide pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions<br \/>\nde gaz carbonique, de m\u00e9thane et d\u2019odeurs.
