Much<br \/>\nof the resistance problem we face<br \/>\ntoday is the result of misuse of<br \/>\nantibiotics in humans. There is also<br \/>\nincreasing evidence that the use of<br \/>\nantibiotics in livestock production may<br \/>\ncontribute to AMR. Agriculture must<br \/>\naddress and deal with this. The human<br \/>\nhealth field must also address its role in<br \/>\nantibiotic over-usage and abuse.<\/p>\n<p>AMR is a serious issue in both<br \/>\nhuman and animal populations.
