Raelene was raised on a mixed grain/hog farm near Rosetown, Saskatchewan. She attended the U of S obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in animal science and a minor in crop science. After graduating Raelene was employed by the Department of Animal and Poultry Science and has worked with several species and areas of research. Since 1991 Raelene has been employed at Prairie Swine Centre and with the Contract Research Program since 1992.
