Donna became a part of the Prairie Swine Centre family on July 7, 2003 when she was offered the position of Accounting Technician. Having grown up on an acreage eight miles south of Saskatoon, with her parents and two sisters, she realized early in life how much she loved living and working in a rural setting. After her husband convocated from the U of S in 1999 they ventured away from Saskatoon and settled in the much smaller community of Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. Shaun (her husband) taught History at the local Comprehensive and Donna worked at the Southeast Regional College as an Administrative Assistant. After only three years Shaun accepted a position in Saskatoon as a History teacher at Evan Hardy Collegiate; they were on the move again, but couldn\u2019t have been happier! Upon their return home they took up residence in Clavet, \u201chome is where the heart is\u201d and Kendall (her daughter) began attending school at the local Composite, the same school that Donna attended and graduated from in 1992. Shaun was busy in his new position teaching and coaching and Donna set out to find an occupation that she would enjoy. For the first year she worked at Westcan Transport and then in 2003 was accepted into the PSCI family.
